Chinese smartphone maker Xioami is all set to release four new smartphones with 108 MP camera setup, as per reports. By doing so, it will become the first company in India to launch the above camera specification. The highest image resolution of an image from this sensor will be 12032*9024 pixels.

Last month, the 108 MP camera was confirmed by India MD Manu Jain.

As per leaks, Mi Mix 4 could be one of the company's smartphone to include 108 MP camera setup. The information is revealed via MI gallery app of MIUI. Even though the names of the models bearing 108 MP have not been revealed by the company, it has uploaded the codes of those four smartphones such as 'Tucana', 'Draco', 'Umi', and 'Cmi'.

Mi Mix may be launched as early as next month.

The company has already launched 48 MP and 64 MP primary camera smartphones this year. It first launched Redmi Note 7 and Redmi 7S bearing 48 MP camera setup and recently it launched 64 MP camera phone Redmi 8 Pro which includes 64 MP primary sensor, 8 MP wide-angle sensor, 5 MP depth sensor and 2 MP micro depth. It included a 5 MP selfie camera.

Meanwhile, Samsung has recently announced its 1/1.33 108 MP ISOCELL Bright HMX. Soon after the Samsung's announcement rumours revealed that Xiaomi will be the first to launch the 108 MP device.
