After months of speculation and rumors, Apple finally released its much awaited iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus on 12th September at an event at the Steve Jobs Theatre in Cupertino. The new iPhones are exactly the same as it was rumored to be. Although the main attraction of the event was the launch of all new iPhone X, It is a big step towards future with all screen design and removal of the home button. The new iPhone X will also feature a new faceID which will recognize your face in 3D and then use it as a password.

 

The new series of Apple iPhones are better on many fronts from its predecessors. The new iPhones will have an A11 bionic chipset which is said to be 70% faster than its A10 chipset in the previous iPhone. The cameras are more enhanced as well with true color sensing abilities to better firmware for best quality photos on a smartphone. Although the specification remains the same with 12 megapixels, the aperture is tuned for better light absorption and color reproduction. It will also feature dual camera image stabilization so that your videos come out without the distortion.The design is also new with glass and integrated steel at the back for the lustrous finish. Apple is claiming its new iPhone to have the most durable screen.

 

Unlike previous years, the new iPhone 8 will be released in India with the rest of the world. The new iPhones will be available for pre order from 29 September while the iPhone X will be ready to book in October. As per the pricing is concerned the basic model i.e iPhone 8 will be available at the starting price of Rs. 64000 for 64GB variant and Rs. 77000 for 256GB variant. On the other hand, the iPhone 8 Plus will be available for Rs.73000 for 64GB model while the 256GB variant will cost you Rs. 86000. The iPhone X which is priced at $999 for the 64GB variant is said to launch in India at a starting price of around 85k.
