Sushant Singh Rajput’s Instagram has set the Internet on fire. The picture he posted proves him as an owner of a piece of land on Moon. He has bought the property from the International Lunar Lands Registry. He got his property registered on June 25. He already owns a  civilian telescope — the Meade 14” LX600 which is one of the advanced telescopes in the world. The part he bought on the Moon is called Mare Muscoviense, or the “Sea of Muscovy”.

He is the first Indian actor in history to buy land on the moon. Sushant Singh Rajput captioned the picture, “I would like to believe that the different ways we answer questions ‘are’ the answers to those questions. So the variations in the way we punctuate the narratives; the nuance, would create the different versions of reality in future. My mother used to tell me that my life will be the story that I will tell myself. I am just punctuating a nuance right now and already am over the moon!” but now he has deleted the post.

The most fascinating thing about that part of the moon is that it is in the shape of India and at the same position of India does if the surface of the Earth was cloned to the moon.

Reportedly, Sushant Singh Rajput will be playing Rakesh Sharma in the film ‘Chanda Mama Door Ke’ in which civilian telescopes — the Meade 14” LX600 will also be shown. Though his tweets show that he is highly interested in the space exploration but can we consider it as a trick to promote the movie?

Shahrukh Khan already owns property on the moon but it was gifted by a fan. Though an international treaty says, “The moon and other celestial bodies belonging to outer space cannot be owned by any individual or nation.”
