Sunny Deol, the Bollywood actor who has given Bollywood some pretty hit films are not doing that good so far in the 17th Lok Sabha sessions. The Bollywood actor so much loved and admired by the public defeated the Sunil Jakhar, a congress candidate by 82,459 votes and became the first time MP of Gurdaspur. He became a part of BJP on April 23, 2019. Sunny Deol is the third in his family to step his foot in politics. Hema Malini and Dharmendra are already a part of politics and have been doing a great job so far. Dharmendra won Lok Sabha constituency in Bikaner for BJP and his wife Hema Malini won seats in Uttar Pradesh- Mathura elections. (ANI).

BJP last won this seat last in 2014 through Vinod Khanna. after the demise of Mr Khanna, congress candidate Jakhar held the seat for years.

Sunny Deol left people in shock with his attendance record in the first Lok Sabha sessions. It seems he did not Enjoy the parliament sessions as much as acting. According to reporters, he attended the sessions 5 days in a row and did not show up for an entire week. A good way to say – “I am done.” According to the Lok Sabha attendance record, our Sunny Paji has attended only 9 sessions out of 37 sessions missing exactly 28 sessions. It seems he did not like coming to Lok Sabha that much after all. Is there an HR department that we can report to look after his irresponsible behaviour?

Someone needs to tell him it’s not a college and attending these sessions is important. And you can’t have that low attendance not get noticed for doing your job that poorly. People were furious at his lack of commitment and seriousness towards his job and they showed the same on twitter. Tweets like “he should resign” were very common.

Sunny Deol must understand his role and take responsibility before it’s too late.
