When I decided to visit Andaman, the first thing I did was to search for it on the Internet. I found plenty of information and pictures but none of them describes it the best and few things that one should know beforehand were missing on the server. I'll tell you about the things you won't find on the internet as the one who visited knows better.

Honestly, it's the best place to visit for vacation from honeymoon to family trip to trip with friends. I'll tell you everything about my experience so that you don't feel stuck in a few situations as I did.

Firstly, decide how many days you want to spend on the island and plan accordingly. I would suggest you book tickets in advance as the price of the ticket increases as the date of departure come close. You can reach there either by ship or aeroplane it's your choice whatsoever you want to book. But I'll advise you to take flight tickets as it will take around 4-5 hours from Delhi while from the ship it will take around 60 hours from Chennai. Ultimately this makes the flight a better option.

It would be difficult for you to find good hotels and resorts at the moment of your choice as they sold out very fast. While booking hotels *Do check reviews* For visiting at any island you need to book a boat so no matter which location you choose, you have reached a particular place from where boat boards. Better to book them at least 2 or 3 days before. It is difficult to get tickets at the moment. You can book Makruzz from anywhere in the world. There are two private cruise companies running Green Ocean and Makruzz. You can easily book all according to your trip. It took me a lot of time to take tickets as I didn't book it in advance so don't do the same mistake.

Your mobile networks will not be available there no matter whichever network sim it is. But if you're a BSNL user then you're a bit luckier than others. If we look at it in a positive way then there you would be isolated from the visual world and enjoy nature, the presence of your partner and yourself rather than wasting time on posting and all.

If you are planning to see Nicobar too then let me inform you, unfortunately, you can't visit there as it is not allowed due to cultural preservation. But still, you are interested in knowing about it then you can go to Samudrika Marine Museum where you will also get a glimpse of many exotic marine species and skeleton of the blue whale. But if you've got a small trip then don't waste time there. You've had better places to discover.

Your flight will land in Port Blair. So, on the initial day, you will have to stay there. Rest on the day you reach there and then start your journey of discovering Andaman from the next day. There are many places to visit in Andaman and I would tell you about the places you should focus on as they are the definition of heavenly Andaman.

The next day leaves for Havelock Island which is well known for Radhanagar Beach and Elephant beach. Firstly book tickets for water sports like scuba which will cost you around RS 4000 approx. It will be done around 5-6 am in the morning. So you will have the privilege to enjoy Elephant Beach and Kaala Patthar on the same day.

Elephant Beach

It is also a place for water sports. It's rich in coral reef structure and underwater marine life. Ask for help from your hotel staff to book your tickets for Elephant Beach. They will take you there on a fast boat as you can't use a bike or scooter to reach there.

After returning back from there you can go to Kaala Pathar and the route to the beach is very interesting as at one side you have beach traversing while you drive and another side you have dense forest giving such a pleasant forest aroma of the variety of plantations and it's a clean place. Do come back before 5 pm as it starts getting dark early there. It's known for photography. So, don't forget your cameras or selfie sticks.

There is a Dolphin resort in Havelock which is extremely beautiful and is at walking distance from the beach. In Havelock, in the evening you can visit Beer shop which provides free wifi, soothing music which will add on to your enjoyment.

Do Take A Bike or Scooter On Rent As It Would Become Easy For You To Visit Places

Next day you can leave for Dolphin Beach in the morning and chill out over there and enjoy lunch and depart for Radhanagar Beach, that's a very huge beach and famous for sunset so you can stay there till the evening. If you are worried about petrol then let me tell you it's comparatively cheap there and you can get it from normal shops too. Try to be present in Radhanagar during sunset.

Radhanagar Beach

It's well Known for its sunset, white sand, and turquoise blue waters, the beach is a very popular hub. There you will find watersports centre at the beach where you can hire snorkelling and scuba equipment and boats.

One of the best beaches in the Andaman Islands, It is one of the most romantic destinations. After you are done with the beauty of Radhanagar Beach plan for another amazing beach.

Now it's time for Neil Beach. Get up, get ready and leave for a beautiful small island with coral reef, silver sand and brilliant biodiversity and it's also rich in forest vegetation.

Laxmanpur Beach, Sitapur Beach and Bharatpur beach are tourist attraction there. The crystal clear blue glassy water and the green forest will leave you wonderstruck.

Natural Bridge

Another place which takes you on a slippery walk so avoid it if any senior citizen is with you. In the evening spend time on Laxmanpur Beach. If you are a peace lover then spend more time in Neil island its less populated and amazing place to spend quality time with your partner.

As per my Experience Do not go For Jarwa.* It is a waste of money you will not see the Adivasi kind of people there. It will be very hectic for you and also will take a whole day with very rough road experience. While going to Jarwa you won't be allowed to use mobile phones. While crossing Baratang you will find a Limestone cave in between which is nothing interested. In Baratang temperature is high and the quality and taste of food are too low.

Mud Volcano

It is considered the tourist attraction but as per my experience, I would guide you not to pay a visit. It's a very journey and time consuming with rough road experiences. Everything seems artificial there. There's only a little height pit from which mud evolves after 2-3 mins which seems so fake.

This time book hotel near Port Blair. Take the first Ferry so that you get much time to visit all the places.

Next day returns back to Portblair which is the capital of Andaman and Nicobar. It is famous for the historic Cellular Jail and other small islands like Ross Island, Corbyn's Cove, Chidiya Tapu etc. Don't spend more than one day there. One day is enough to explore Port Blair. So you can visit Ross Island and in the evening you can visit the place near the Cellular jail and you can watch the show as well. It is available in both the languages Hindi and English so ask timing while taking the tickets for your language. Chidiya Tapu is known for its sunset so be available there during sunset.

Cinque island

Another beautiful island in Port Blair but go for it if you're going on a long trip. Try to find people who want to visit the same so that you can share the fare as it is costly and most importantly is really far away from all others.

North Bay island

It is famous as the scene of the North Bay island is seen at the back of the 20 RS note. The island is exotic don't miss to go there.

Another Suggestion For Don't Go For Wandoor Nothing Interesting Is There

Andaman is an awesome place to visit. People over there are very friendly and you can take scooty on rent within 400-500 RS. In Havelock, you can leave your bike or scooter helmet anywhere. People are very down to earth and helpful. Everything is easily accessible.

There Are Few Points to Remember

The only drawback I told you is a signal problem so be careful while booking your hotel and do check whether the hotel provides free wifi or not. If you are planning to go live on Facebook and Instagram. I'm sorry, you can't.
Choose your hotels carefully. It should not be at the location. I booked Jazeera hotel and it was not in Port Blair it was in Andaman. The place far away from places to visit.

You will have to eat that hotel's food that was not quite tasteless. So you will be bound for that particular day. So better you stay in Port Blair better options will be there for you.
People do use Hindi there. You won't face many problems in communicating
My trip was adventurous and joyful. I hope you enjoy yours too. Happy Journey!
