After Demonetisation RBI has been releasing several notes and now it's time for new 100 rupee note. The Reserve Bank of India will soon issue the new RS 100 banknotes.

The new note has the scene of ‘Rani ki vav’ a stepwell located on the banks of Saraswati river in Gujarat’s Patan,  at the back, signifying India’s Cultural Heritage.

As usual Mahatma Gandhi will be in his same place. The base color of the note is lavender. The note has other geometric designs like geometrical pattern. The dimensions of the note will be 66 mm X 142 mm.

The current notes of Rs 100 will also be in use as announced by RBI.

As the new note is introduced so it will take time in printing and supply and distribution amongst the public.
