Loneliness is Similar to Smoking 15 Cigarettes a Day

At some point of time, everyone feels lonely but constantly feeling the same is injurious to health. We’ve phone and internet now everything and everyone is just one call away yet we feel lonely.

According to the studies, people who are highly active on social media feel more dejected than the one who uses SMS for meaningful conversation. Because that prevents one from sliding down and looking at memes or DMing someone.

Hey-look-my-life-is-cooler-than-yours social media makes people more depressed. While they scroll and see people around them having fun. They compare themselves and ultimately enters the hole of self-accusing.

According to these sites fear, anxiety, depression is not okay as each one of them is putting up a picture of a smiling face.

The stressed feeling leads you to chronic inflammation. And yes, loneliness is similar to smoking 15 cigarettes a day. Stop pushing yourself towards death.

There are many solutions to end this loneliness but they are easy to say and harder to implement.

Read books, spend time with your friends and family, take out time to do things you enjoy, go out for a walk, exercise and don’t overwork. But for all this, you need to put your phone away and enjoy real life.

Your grandparents may not be able to send you a text but at least they aren’t pushing themselves towards death.
