Our brain is a complicated subject of study with years of resources put behind it to understand its complexities and capabilities. Our brain functions in a certain way for different scenarios, especially our instincts and reflex behaviors are a product of our subconscious mind which has been training itself. Your conscious behavior is a part of your volunteer movements and only a tip of your brain’s capacity.
On the other hand, your subconscious mind is always in a training mode with an enormous amount of memory visuals and things which you notice but do not pay attention to. Everything you see, hear, smell, taste, experience, learn, and even imagine gets stored in this internal hard drive or subconscious memory of yours. So what is the correct way to train our subconscious mind and make a greater use of the capabilities of the mind? One such element which has been proven to highly beneficial is Meditation. Meditation is a deeper soul-searching and proper gateway to your subconscious mind.
There are numerous ways and techniques to access and train your involuntary mind but nothing comes close to the impact of meditation and yoga. It helps you to deep dive into your consciousness which is a dreamlike environment. As you go deeper your brain patterns slow down a bit and become more structured and balanced with your conscious environment, the things you see and feel around you. Your conscious brain works and responds to outside stimuli. It reacts to every condition put forth and decides what to do in that scenario. The conscious mind has been associated with alertness and response but then there is anxiety, stress, and anger which follows and make your life a bit hard. With meditation you deep diver into your soul, you do not wait for external stimuli to respond to, basically,
you connect to yourself. As you get used to it and follow a daily routine, you will start realizing the great effects it has like your way of thinking will become clearer, your mental fatigue level will be curbed down and you will feel charged up and fresh for the most part of the day. In the beginning, phase while you're sitting calmly, certain random thoughts will pop up, mind you these thoughts are not random but something your unconscious mind has attained which the conscious part is not able to relate to. So why not start with a simple method of empowering oneself and routinely practice it for at least 15 min on a daily basis. A small step today will reap you a lifetime worth of power and utilization of your subconscious brain.
Meditation is nothing but calming yourself down and concentrating on a single point of reference or a thought for a certain period of time. The best part is you do not need any fancy types of equipment and trainers to make you good at it. All you need to do is find a quiet place sit down, close your eyes, do not think about anything in particular and just breathe in and breathe out. That is it!
If you do this daily for 10-15 minutes and increase it slowly if you feel the need then you will notice the changes it had brought in your life. Meditation will make you think more vividly and make you calm and composed.
