This Indian black-and-white film directed by Satyen Bose focused on the friendship between two boys, one blind and the other a cripple. The story of ‘‘Dosti’’ Rome around two friends Ramu and Mohan. After the tragic death of his parents, he is thrown out of his house penniless and as he roams around the streets of Mumbai, where he meets Mohan. Sholay (1984)

The famous action-adventure film Sholay is about two criminals, Jai and Veeru (played by Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra respectively) who were small-time thieves. Seeing their friendship, a retired police officer (played by Sanjeev Kumar) thinks that they would be ideal to help him capture Gabbar Singh (played by Amjad Khan), a wanted dacoit. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998)
