New Delhi: Former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley’s health is continuously getting critical. He was admitted to the hospital on August 9 and has been put on a life-support system. He was admitted to the hospital after he complained of breathlessness and restlessness. The hospital hasn’t provided any medical updates about his health since 10th August. 

On Sunday, several senior leaders visited the hospital to enquire about his health. As per the reports, a team of doctors have been assigned to assure the best treatment to Jaitley. Several leaders - Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Union Minister Smriti Irani and Ram Vilas Paswan visited AIIMS on Sunday to see former Union Minister’s health.

Himachal Governor Kalraj Mishra, RSS leader Dr Krishna Gopal and former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh also visited the hospital to see him. 

Jaitley has been keeping unwell for a long time now, which also kept him from contesting Lok Sabha elections. Jaitley, who is a lawyer by profession, played a very important role in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s previous cabinet; as he held both Finance and Defence Ministries.
